Like Knitting with strands of liquid butter!

Do I enjoy knitting with cashmere yarn?
Who Would Not?
This is like knitting with strands of liquid butter. As a relatively new knitter 8 years ago, I decided to make my grandmother a cashmere scarf for her 80th birthday.
I chose a pattern from the cover of Spin Off, a beautiful white lace pattern. My first try at lace. You can stop laughing now.
It took me so long to do this scarf, I thought I would miss her birthday. After a few tense moments, like when the cat took off with one of the balls or yarn; when I drop some stitches or when I needed to rip out mistakes, all was going well until I realized that I DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH YARN!!!.
So I did a Google search and located a store on the East Coast who not only had the same yarn and color , but the same dye lot. I live in the Midwest.
I finally did get the scarf finished and sent it to her before her 80th birthday party.
BTW - I do not recommend eating chocolate while knitting with cashmere, I need to soak some of the chocolate stains out of the scarf prior to blocking and shipping out to Grandma.
